Congratulations!
Congratulations! You have made it through the first six months in your new role. During the next six months, you will encounter further engagements with your colleagues, line manager, and Human Capital representative, affording you the opportunity to align as you continue to think ahead and manage your own goals and deliverables.
Below is a reminder of some of the resources you can tap into.
Confidence rule 50: THE BEST THINKING IS FUTURE THINKING.
Your Performance Journey
Follow the link below for a reminder of our full performance and goal management processes. This e-learning module includes important information on our performance management philosophy, goal setting, continuous feedback, and the mid and end-year review processes.
Keeping track of your goals and continuously monitoring your progress against these goals are important input into what you need to prioritise. With that in mind, the Individual Development Plan (IDP) Guide aims to assist you as you continue to think about your priorities and key areas you would like or need to focus on.
As part of your growth journey, you have the opportunity to proactively solicit feedback (under ‘Continuous Performance’ in MWS) to ensure that your performance progress is in line with expectations.
Effective coaching and feedback stem from open, ongoing communication between yourself and your line manager. To remove any potential biases, you and your line manager can at any point request feedback on your progress from other stakeholders, functional team members, and working group members who are not part of your direct team.
Log into your MWS profile and follow the tab to ‘Continuous Performance’ to check this out.
