As a new joiner to the Sanlam Group, it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the content of all our policies. Please visit our intranet to view all Policies and Procedures.
It is compulsory for all new joiners in Sanlam to do a formal regulatory compliance sign-off on our policies and you will be expected to sign off on 4 online e-learning courses via myWorkSpace, our Human Capital platform:
- New Joiners Policy sign-off
- New Joiners Digital Engagement policy sign-off
- New Joiners Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) sign-off
- New Joiners Anti-Money Laundering (AML) sign-off.
Please look out for further communication regarding the sign-off process.
Depending on your business area, a buddy will be assigned to support you on your onboarding journey. A buddy is a ‘go-to’ person who can help with your day-to-day questions and share valuable information about the business, your department, and important processes.

MyWorkSpace
The MyWorkSpace platform has been designed to support you throughout your time at the Sanlam Group. At this point, you would have received your login details to complete your myWorkSpace tasks. Please use the links below to give you an overview of how to navigate the platform.

Applause
In addition to the group benefits, Sanlam offers a Group-wide recognition programme called Applause. Applause caters for group and business specific awards which support business drivers and strategy. The most notable recognition awards are the Group Chief Executive awards. All awards recognise employees for living the company’s values and put the focus on not only what we do but also how we do it.

Orientation
In light of the initial events you will be required to attend, please keep an eye out for the email invitation in order to register for and have the session added to your calendar, as attendance at both orientation sessions is mandatory. We are excited to engage and share further information regarding the Sanlam Group with you!
Survey
We are excited to have you on board! We trust that your onboarding process has been positive thus far and that you are settling in well. To ensure that we continue to provide the best possible support to our new joiners, we would like to hear from you!

The survey will take 2-3 minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept confidential and only be used to improve our onboarding process.
